On 8th of March, Women’s Fund in Georgia organized a series of events to celebrate the International Women’s Day. All the activities were carried out by WFG’s grantee partners.
The event “Feminists’ 8th of March” was dedicated to feminist activism in Georgia and three projects were presented: Feminist Places – “Places, HerStories”, blog of feminist spaces of past and present times prepared by Tamta Melashvili;
Feminist Symbols – Exhibition-sale of artifacts with feminist symbols, created by IDP women from a social enterprise in Tserovani Settlement;
Feminist Alphabet – Film screening of a new documentary, “Feminist Alphabet,” directed by Salome Sagaradze.
Thanks for coming and joining us to celebrate Feminists’ 8th of March!
